Government facility in India is adequate or not

India is a developing country and the government is focusing on all the necessary facilities and provisions to its residents for a better living such as government hospitals, water and electricity facilities, post offices, telephone exchange offices etc. These facilities are dedicatedly serving their particular areas and districts.

Government hospitals are adequate in our country, and some of these are among the best hospitals in India. Government hospitals provide treatment at the expense of the taxpayers on India. Many essential drugs are available free of cost in these hospitals. Government hospitals in India provide treatment either free or at very nominal charges.

Water supply and sanitation facilities in India seem to be in bad shape in most of the rural areas. Lack of proper sanitation facilities and safe drinking water is causing many health hazards. However, in some cities the health care system also includes facilities that are comparable to the international quality standards.

Some of the Indian cities have well developed government facilities but many Indian states are still lagging behind. A vigilant implementation of government services is accountable for the prompt services and facilities in some of the states such as Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Pune, Gurgaon etc. The government facilities in all these places are quite developed but you may experience more sophistication in the coming years. For instance, Gurgaon is a recently developed town and the government facilities in Gurgaon are still developing. To keep up pace with the economic development of the millennium city, the government facilities of Gurgaon are focusing on high-class development.

Although many cities in our country are offering well developed government facilities but it still requires a very meticulous planning by our government to provide equal facilities to all sections of Indian society including the rich as well as the poor. The people below poverty line are the ones who are mostly deprived of their rights and are also ignorant of the facilities and provisions being provided by the government. The reason may be the insufficient implementation of rules and regulations and also the widespread fraudulent practices in our system.
